I only seem them live for the first time i would say maybe 5 years ago. I had been to a hell of a lot of gigs at that point. I think they are probably the best live band in the world. Absolute magic

I love rock, grunge and all the rest of it but when it comes to a man with an acoustic guitar singing or with a singer, its truly (to my ears) unbeatable. I play acoustic so I may be a little bias

I've been fortunate enough to see them 3 times in a very small venue (800 max). He has an astonishing powerful voice, almost no need for amplification.

I remember my dad picking me up one weekend when I was about 13 and I played this album on the drive to his house. He asked me about 3 times what the name of the band was 😂 so I knew he liked it! So many happy car rides with dad blasting the speakers off with the stereophonics! I miss him
